Completely hands-free intercom operation! Simply connect the Baehr® unit to the 12v power supply of your motorcycle, just like with any other electrical accessory. Appropriate connectors are included.
Heavy Duty Construction
The VERSO XL features a water resistant housing, 2.5mm sheet aluminum, rugged DIN connectors, and epoxy-potted electronics—all robustly built for the tough motorcycling environment.
Prioritized Universal Interfaces
The two universal interfaces of the VERSO XL unit are fully wired and ready to accept any electronic audio device. Each can be connected to almost any device with the corresponding adapter cable. System software automatically manages the priority of connected devices. You can freely choose, by changing the interfaces, which of the signals get priority.
Bike-to-Bike Communications
Baehr® supplies the appropriate adapter cables and a handlebar mounted push-to-talk to allow two or more individual motorcyclists to communicate with each other using any easily available 2-way FRS radio.
Music/Audio Inputs
Baehr® offers a standard music input that accepts any audio device with a 2.5mm or 3.5mm jack. You can connect an AM/FM radio, a CD or MD player, an MP3 player, or anything else you care to listen to.
Individually Adjustable Intercom
Automatic Music Volume Suppression and Intercom Volume Suppression reduce music or voice levels for incoming priority signals. 2-Level Wind Noise Suppression—suppression controlled by software and the directional microphone sensitivity, Automatic 2-Level Volume Control—adjustment of speech, phone and other signals as surrounding noise levels change, and Individual Volume Control are additional features built into this versatile system. Intelligent mono audio input—volume control regulates all sound inputs. Automatic voice activation switches microphone off unless someone is speaking. Intelligent music signal amplification boosts the volume of connected audio devices. Automatic ?sing-along? recognizes when passenger is not connected to the system and will enable you to speak or sing without suppression of your favorite music.
