Predrilled tongue accepts self-tapping, screw-in steel hold-down pins to help stabilize ramp and prevent movement and separation. Tailgate or trailer floor must be drilled to use pins. Attach adhesive rubber pad to underside of top to prevent marring and to reduce ramp movement. Sold in pairs. Drilling of plank required. Use with your own planks to create a custom loading ramp systemallows you to roll heavy items into your pickup bed or van almost effortlessly and with little lifting or back strain. Ramp capacities are approximately 1,400 lbs. a pair or 700 lbs. each based on use with common 2" x 8" (1-1/2" x 7-1/2" actual size) or 2" x 12" (1-1/2" x 11-1/4" actual size) fir plank. Use oak or maple for higher capacities.
