Hitch Steps

Hitch Steps can be used on your Truck or Pickup to allow easy access to out-of-reach areas like the roof rack, truck bed or RV windows. They are made from strong, durable and corrosion resistant materials like aluminum and steel. Hitch Steps generally come in a variety of colorful designs and have a molded surface for safe, non-skid footing. These Hitch Steps can fit any standard 2" receiver hitches and installs easily and quickly without any drilling. You can select from Customized Hitch Steps, Receiver-Mount Tube Steps and Receiver-Mount Truck Steps.

Running Boards & Step Rail Accessories

You can get all the Hardware Accessories necessary to install your Running Boards from our collection. JC Whitney stocks complete Mounting Kits that help reduce installation time and ensure a secure fit. Most of these mounting parts are made of heavy-duty galvanized steel.

You can get U-Channel Brackets to separate the Running Board from the frame and eliminate vibration and road noise while on the road. Traction Tape increases grip and ensures a sure footing on the Running Board to prevent slipping while getting into your vehicle.

Running Boards

Running Boards have a larger weight capacity and are wider than other Side Step Bars. They are made of stainless steel, fiberglass, chrome or aluminum. Running Boards are available in black or dark gray finish and can also be painted in any color you want. You can also get Custom molded Running Boards for your Beetle. They have a special shape that blends with the curves of your vehicle to give it a stylish look.

Lighted Running Boards have lights at both ends to make your vehicle stand out on the road. The full aluminum finish of these Lighted Running Boards will also give your vehicle a sleek look. Lighted Running Boards come with a complete mounting kit making installation easy and trouble-free.

Step Rails & Nerf Bars

Step Rails and Nerf Bars come in high gloss or textured stainless steel to add style to your vehicle. These Nerf Bars are also constructed from corrosion-resistant materials like powder coated and chrome-plated aluminum to give you a lifetime of service. Some of these Step Rails have dual steps that make it easy to access truck beds and roof racks. You can also get Oval Nerf Bars that are specially designed to provide you an extra-wide stepping surface for secure footing while getting in and out of your vehicle.

Steps

Side Steps have a separated step design that let you access particular areas of your vehicle unlike the board design that runs the length of your cab. These Side Bars can be installed on any kind of vehicle. They come in heavy-duty steel or aluminum and have a skid proof surface for a sure footing. You can also get Folding Steps that can be folded up when not in use. These Steps can be bolted on to your vehicle easily without any drilling.

Maintaining Running Boards, Nerf Bars & Side Steps!

Keep your vehicle’s Running Boards and Steps clean at all times to get the best use out of them. Allowing dirt and slush to settle on these boards could reduce the grip ability of the step and lead to accidents. Wash the steps with mild soapy water to remove tough stains and marks. Dry them off completely to prevent slipping while entering. Make sure the Side Steps or Running Boards have a non-slip surface.

Check the nuts and bolts on the side steps regularly to ensure that they are tightly fit. If you find the Running Boards, Nerf Bars or Side Steps worn or rusted, replace them immediately to prevent sudden breakage and mishaps.
